physically abused and emotionally smothered by master minder and lover, julian brooker, klara never once considered leaving him, not even he attacked her one valentines with a steak knife and left her face hideously scarred. as punishment and with a mind to project klara further from julian's rages, acheron purged julian's mind of memory in an attempt to wash away the demons inside him as well. this proved only partially successful and so it is left to klara to mind julian in his perpetual confusion. neither her nor acheron speak of the incident, though klara still holds a deep-seated remorse for her part in it. she never uses her powers on herself.
